I couldn’t wait another day without writing on the wild things going on in the world RN. I will begin with racism and police brutality.

I was mentally destabilized when I watched the video of George Floyd death around 12:00am. I wasn’t myself after watching the video. My friend sent me the video and I had so many questions to ask. WHY SHOULD IT BE A DEBATE TO BE A BLACK PERSON? Even after all the protest that took place, cops were still killing black people. Because of skin color?! This is evil!

In the video we all watched, George Floyd was saying “I can’t breathe” “I can’t breathe” and the cop was still pressing his neck on the ground until he stopped breathing. πŸ˜”πŸ’”.

Millions of petition had to be signed for justice to be served and justice hasn’t still been fully served.

My friend told me how white girls used to mock her because of her hair and skin colour. She told me how uncomfortable she was living there with the white girls. I told her not to let anyone speak badly about her hair, skin or any part of her body. It’s hurtful when you start questioning yourself and how you will accepted by others. If people can’t accept you the way you are then they should walk away. period!

Never stop fighting for your right in this world. This is not the time to be silent.

Police brutality is also happening in Nigeria. Police are meant to be protecting lives and property but their destroying lives and property and they don’t get punished for their wrongs. Recently, a 16 year old girl Tina Ezekwe was shot dead by a police officer in Lagos. Justice hasn’t been served yet. Justice must be served!

It’s time we pray about all these. Prayer goes a long way. πŸ™πŸΎ

Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.

  1. “Until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned … until the colour of a man’s skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes; until the basic human rights are guaranteed to all, without regard to race … Continents will not know peace.”
